Un-Frazzle Your Family is an easy to read handbook for parents. Bringing up a child with a disability or dysfunction can be one of life's great challenges, and there are no easy answers.
This book has been written to help parents cope and get through the days with less stress and strain.
There are three main sections:
1. The importance and value of nature, art and music. These are just so taken for granted and often neglected in daily life but can make a very real and supportive contribution to the well-being of both children and adults, with or without a disability. Also you will find some really useful tips to help you to think and use your own mind to deal with problems, There are lots of excellent ideas here, and almost no need to spend any money...a nice bonus! This is a very important and easy to implement section of the book
2. Therapists you can check out. Information here about therapies that you may not be aware of that can make the world of difference to you and to your child. There seems to be an ongoing search for the best answer to the problems that you are facing, and it does take a lot of time and effort. The therapies listed in the handbook are extremely well worth your consideration and should not be ignored. Very often, with the treatment of disability, there are people in positions of authority who will tell you what to do, and usually they are quite negative about any approach other than their own. You should read and think about the other approaches that many people have tried, and certainly not be afraid to at least speak to therapists who offer different approaches. No one approach can provide all the answers but a good combination can be just the thing!
3. Information about learning and play. Simple and very effective ideas here. Once again, nothing costly or complicated. Plenty of information and very useful tips to help you with play, schoolwork, homework, choosing toys, games and activities and so on.
Un-Frazzle Your Family is not a big heavy book with too much writing. It is easy to read and you can dip into any section as you want to. It is, without a doubt, an extremely valuable support system for your family!
The book is free and is in a PDF format, which you can print yourself.

How to Draw - No5: Parrot
The parrot has 3 main sections: body, tail and wing. The beak and legs are made up of smaller parts put together . You need to look carefully at them and try to get the shapes fairly right.
The colours can be done as in the coloured pic or any other way you like. The branch he is standing on is easy enough. Most of the lines in this pic are curved just a little.

How to Draw - No4: Guitar
The body of the guitar is actually made by drawing two 3's. You may need to practise the back-to-front 3 a bit firstly. All the other lines are easy enough. A few light lines can be added at the end to indicate the strings, but use a thin pen/pencil otherwise they won't fit and will look too messy.
Patterns to Colour
Here are some patterns that are good for colouring, which is a nice restful activity, for children and adults.
Play some music that you like whilst colouring, for a peaceful pastime!
You can right click on each pattern, and choose either print or save.

How to Draw - No1: Teddy Bear
When you look carefully at the teddy you can see
that it is made up of
a number of different shapes.
The picture is made by drawing these shapes,
not by drawing an outline of the whole teddy.
Most of the lines are curves.
Do each section in turn to build up the picture.
The bear's tummy is a funny sort of shape,
but that is because the arms and legs fit into it.
The arms and legs are odd shapes too, but
when you have
it all put together they look quite ok.
If you right click on the sample pics, you can save them
and then print them out if you want have them on paper.
